Why I Hate Jurassic World

Currently, Jurassic World is sitting on $1,545,405,234 worldwide – so it’s doing something right – but I hated it. Most people I’ve talked to seemed to have enjoyed the film even with what I perceive to be glaring issues, and that’s OK. But as a huge fan of the original, I was definitely left wanting.

I’ve been a HUGE fan of Terry Brooks’ Shannara series ever since grade 9. A friend lent me his copy of First King of Shannara and I’ve been an avid reader of the series ever since. With the massive success of HBO’s Game of Thrones, MTV decided they wanted a piece of that fantasy pie and greenlit The Shannara Chronicles, a fantasy series based on Brooks’ The Elfstones of Shannara.
