Halloweentown Cast: Comprehensive Where Are They Now
The Halloweentown movies are some of the best family-friendly Halloween movies out there! With the first movie in the series coming out in 1998 and the last in 2006, it’s natural to wonder what the cast has been up to in recent years. Consider the following the first in my Where Are They Now series!
The Best Halloween Movies To Watch This Season
What can I say? Halloween has been and always will be my favourite holiday, and the best part about Halloween? Watching some of the Best Halloween Movies! I’m sure that plenty of great Halloween movies have been left out of this list (many classics!), so don’t be afraid to yell at me in the comments. Some of the Halloween movies in this list are scary, some are magical, some are ‘family’, and some are just silly. Either way, here are my favorite Halloween Movies Of All Time
Cursed Child review from a Harry Potter Fan
So, I finally got around to starting, and finishing, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child yesterday and I have to say that I enjoyed it a lot more than expected. The internet and Harry Potter fans as a whole seem to loathe the story, citing that it reads more like fan fiction than true canon – and I have to agree with them on that point. As much as I enjoyed immersing myself into that world again and as much as I ultimately enjoyed the play, there were some glaring issues with the plot, and most importantly, character behavior that I am having a hard time reconciling with.
Here are some of my gripes and questions regarding Harry Potter and the Cursed Child from a pretty die hard Potter fan!
The secret theory that fixes Independence Day: Resurgence
I’m a huge fan of the original Independence Day (1996), so needless to say, I was super excited when Independence Day: Resurgence (2016) was first announced. Even though Will Smith would not be in the film (Goldblum is more than enough to keep me happy) I had high hopes for this film. However, after seeing it opening day, I was devastated. That may be a little hyperbolic, but Independence Day: Resurgence just felt like one of those hilariously bad Syfy original monster/space movies, but with an absurd budget.
At the bar after seeing the movie, I got to talking about the film with my buddy and all of its flaws, and that’s when he came up with the brutally simple theory that patched so many of the numerous nonsensical plot holes. Thanks Kyle!

The Best Disney Movies of All Time
It may surprise you to know that I enjoy movies, and, as a human, I especially love Disney movies. Nostalgia aside, Disney has made some incredible classics in their time. Having recently watched Zootopia (2016), I got to thinking about my childhood favourites – movies that I would figuratively force any future child of mine to watch.
The following list only contains movies I myself have seen, so I’m sure I’ve missed plenty. If you feel that I’ve left one of your favourite Disney movies off, let me know in the comments! I’m always looking for new Disney movies!
How To Beat The Demon in It Follows
It has been a long time since I’ve seen the unconventional horror film It Follows (2014), but I still find myself reflecting and thinking about how I would survive the entity/demon/ghost/std.
The following are some of my thoughts on what I would do to survive the horror of it.
