It may surprise you to know that I enjoy movies, and, as a human, I especially love Disney movies. Nostalgia aside, Disney has made some incredible classics in their time. Having recently watched Zootopia (2016), I got to thinking about my childhood favourites – movies that I would figuratively force any future child of mine to watch.

It has been a long time since I’ve seen the unconventional horror film It Follows (2014), but I still find myself reflecting and thinking about how I would survive the entity/demon/ghost/std.

The sound alone hurled me back to a simpler time. A time when Napster reigned (and mistitled songs were a real problem) and boy bands roamed the earth.

So to get a full picture you have to read a lot of very technical reports from the network security community. My understanding of the attack comes from reading (probably way too many) technical reports about it. I’ll try and give the most readable sources here.
